In the beginning, we knew it would be important to accurately capture how our pottery looks. With a decent camera and Tyson's processing skills, we think we have done that. But pottery, especially functional pottery, is one of those things that people want to feel. They want to pick it up and hold it, to become acquainted with it before they make it their own. We feel very honored when people buy our pots based mostly on their looks alone, and we want them to live up to not only that expectation, but to tactile expectations as well. That is why we have put a lot of thought into the volume and the weight of each piece. The mug handles have evolved along the way, and they are super-comfortable. Our glazes were formulated over a period of months to get just the right texture, colors, and durability. We want the mug or bowl that you buy from us to become your favorite mug or bowl.
